Project: Hope

Saturday Evening

by Project: Hope on Jan.10, 2010, under General

Wednesday

On Wednesday, we started at the Thomazeau hospital.  We had over 200 patients and everything ran very smoothly.

Thursday

On Thursday, we all spent the day up at the Thomazaeu Hospital.  There are 22 on this trip.  Everyone has done an excellent job.  We had a slower number of patients this day, but we still helped a lot of people.

Friday

Today, we sent one team to Pastor Walter’s and one to Thomazeau, to finish up the patients there.  We had over 200 at Pastor Walter’s church.  There were two-three churches from the village, that has no hospital or clinic.  They were so thankful.  We changed plans and decided to go again on Saturday.

Saturday

Today we sent another team to Pastor Walter’s church and another to Pastor J’s church.  We had probably another 200 at Pastor Walter’s.  We saw close to 75-100 at Pastor J’s church.  We then got to begin seeing the boys at the orphanage.

Pastor Walter was so thankful for everything we were able to accomplish.

Sunday we will go to church, where Kris will be preaching.  We will then do evangelizing in the surrounding neighborhood, then see the girls at the House of Hope orphanage and Good Shepherd’s Love Orphanage.

On Monday we hope to go to the Baptist Mission and Mother Theresa’s orphanage.

Thanks for your continued prayers.  Internet has been down at the hotel and spotty here at the Orphanage.  We can’t wait to show you our thousands of pictures!
